Outpatient pharmacy
It provides the necessary medication to the outpatients. The patient takes the medicine by a prescription written by his doctor.
The prescription has the important information that the pharmacologist need to give the right medicine.

Some of hospitals have a computers system that the ticnation put the patient no. file to see if the medicine and the dose are right and if there are any changing in the prescription then writing the medicine to be in the patient file

Inpatient pharmacy…
This kind of pharmacy located inside the hospital serving the patients admitted in the hospital .
The medication is given by order request, wrote on this request: medication, dose & frequent, and also what all the patient need eg: ( X-ray, surgical consultation ,I.V fluids , blood tests , urine collection ... etc) .

Inside this pharmacy we found:

*Unite dose system Room
In this system the pharmacy provide the oral medication to each patient as each dose requires only.

**I.V room…
It is specialized in the drugs that is with high concentration to be diluted it in solution and then injected intravenous (I.V) , intramuscular (I.M) or subcutaneous (S.C).

***Chemotherapy room …
The chemo drugs are prepared here that need to be isolated.


****Pharmacy Lap …
Here they prepare the drugs that come from the factory and need to adjust as the doctor want.

Here they receive control prescription

In this section they provide the necessary books that the pharmacies need ….

They are small pharmacies in every department they have the necessary drugs that they need

_ E.R. pharmacy.
This pharmacy is found in the E.R. department and serves the patient there.
